Dr. Sangita Arora, O.D.
Dr. Sangita Arora is founder and president of Arora Optometry Professional Corporation. Prior to founding Arora Optometry, Dr. Arora practiced in various locations throughout the GTA including Hamilton, Burlington and Mississauga. This allowed her to gain the relevant practical experience necessary to create her own practice and provide true quality eye care.
She graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 1998 where she did her ocular health externship in Houston, Texas focusing on cataract surgery, glaucoma and retinal disease management. Dr. Arora was very active during her optometric academic career as class president for 2 consecutive years, earning her the Optometry Award of Merit. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and has volunteered with the Ontario Association of Optometrists on various task force committees, supporting the profession of optometry in Ontario.
